💻 What is WinOLS Reseller?
WinOLS Reseller is the platform developed by EVC to connect professionals who create calibration projects with other WinOLS users interested in acquiring them.
Published projects may include:

✅ One or more modified versions.
✅ Calibration files for ECU and TCU.
✅ Identified maps and their descriptions.
✅ Technical information of the vehicle and the ECU.
✅ Comments and project documentation.
✅ Completed calibrations or projects intended for analysis.
Thanks to the OLSx format, the files, maps, versions, and technical information remain grouped within the same WinOLS project.

📦 What does the Res-Start activation include?
With the purchase of Res-Start, you can request registration as a seller within the WinOLS Reseller platform.
The activation includes:
✔️ Registration as a WinOLS Reseller.
✔️ Creation of a specific “Reseller” client within WinOLS.
✔️ Access to the project publishing and synchronisation function.
✔️ Ability to assign a credit price to each project.
✔️ Management of clients and credit balances.
✔️ Individual configuration of the rights for each project.
✔️ Automatic encryption of published files.
✔️ Publication of your projects on the EVC Reseller platform.
✔️ Synchronisation with EVC servers while WinOLS is running.

🌐 Sell your projects directly from WinOLS
Once the function is activated, WinOLS creates a specific client or folder to store the content intended for sale.
Completed projects are copied to this folder and synchronised with the EVC platform.
When you modify or delete a project, these changes can also be transferred to the server via the WinOLS synchronisation function.
Authorised customers will be able to access your catalogue from the project opening box, consult the available files, and purchase them using their credit balance.

💳 Flexible credit system
Transactions between the reseller and their customers are carried out using credits.
Each relationship between seller and buyer has an independent account. As a reseller, you will be able to:

🔹 Add credits to a buyer's balance.
🔹 Set a different price for each project.
🔹 Offer special conditions to certain customers.
🔹 Publish free projects with a price of zero credits.
🔹 Sell individual versions when they meet the EVC requirements.
The buyer makes the payment directly to the reseller. EVC technically manages the credit accounts but does not intervene in the payment made between seller and customer.

The reseller is responsible for the published projects, their content, and compliance with applicable copyright laws.

💶 EVC platform fees
In addition to the activation price of Res-Start, the reseller must take into account that EVC may apply other costs for using the platform:
🔹 Initial activation fee for the Reseller function.
🔹 Commission for each project sold.
🔹 Possible costs for expanding storage space.
🔹 Additional services contracted directly with EVC.
EVC groups the commissions corresponding to the sold projects and issues an invoice to the reseller.
The selling price of the credits to each customer is freely set by the reseller.

Yes. The rights of each project can be configured to limit the export of the binary file or the information of the maps.

After being accepted as a client and having credits, the buyer updates WinOLS and accesses the reseller's catalogue from the project opening box.
🔹 What happens when a client purchases a project?
The corresponding credits are deducted from their account. The project is downloaded, saved in their WinOLS directory, and opened with the permissions set by the reseller.
🔹 Can a purchased project be downloaded again?
Yes. An acquired project can be downloaded again without repaying, as long as it retains its identification correctly.
🔹 Does EVC charge the buyer directly?
No. The buyer pays the reseller directly. EVC maintains the credit accounts and invoices the reseller for the corresponding commissions.
🔹 Who is responsible for the published content?
The reseller is responsible for the content of their projects and for having the necessary rights to distribute them.
