OLS1006 is the official EVC module designed to import different file formats used for updating and programming the software of control units into WinOLS.
It allows opening certain ODX, ODX-F, FRF, SGO, SGM, PDX and SOX files directly in WinOLS to create a project and access the data contained in the compatible file.

🧩 Importing XML files with ODX content
OLS1006 is not a generic XML importer.
It can only process certain XML variants that contain a compatible ODX structure. The module itself automatically analyses the file and recognises if it can handle its import.
Version 1.080 added compatibility with an additional variant of ODX-XML files.

🚀 Workflow from WinOLS
The importer allows using a compatible file as a basis to create or complete a WinOLS project.
After the import, the professional can analyse the available data and work with the usual WinOLS tools to locate, visualise, and modify the calibration areas.

OLS1006 is exclusively an export module.

🔍 File compatibility
EVC expressly warns that it cannot guarantee 100% coverage for all existing files and variants.
Although many files can be imported correctly, some may not be compatible. EVC mentions certain DL501 files as examples of files whose import may fail.
For this reason, we recommend checking the file's compatibility with EVC's online testing function before purchasing the licence.
